New to me Razor. Easy to use, and First Class results.A total surprise, as i half expected
it to be like ER Featherweight/ Natural Angle. In a totally different class.
 


Feather Pro blade

The Mongoose is better with this shorter, grippier handle, still not as close as my Cobra though, but I am starting to appreciate the weight of the head as it makes skipping far less likely. Had to put a vast amount of soap into this brush and reload once for a three pass shave - good job I have plenty! At present I like the handle but not much else about this brush so I must remain opened minded about as it breaks in.

Used two brand new Voskhods for one shave! Oh dear. I may have to revise my score in the spreadsheet if this and other bad shaves with these blades continue. Still a good result in the end!

Pretty unusual getting this razor wet. It calls to me maybe 4-5 times a year and today was one of those. I do like the performance a good bit, but that handle just isn't right for me. Yep, that silly toggle thing on the end messes up how it feels in my hand. It should have some substance at the base instead of getting pointier. Nothing to rest on my finger during the shave.

I would rate this old Schick blade as about perfect. Bought some years ago and haven't found a better one. Smooth, sharp, and long lasting. You guys ever see some of these grab em. There are lots of variations and this particular blade says 'Super Platinum' on it.

First time with one of these "straights" right cheek was fairly easy as was under neck and jaw. Left cheek a bit more of an issue (using right arm), chin and 'tash area = no chance! Couldn't get angle/arm/hand in the right position. With the right angle an extremely close and smooth shave is attainable. Not sure if straight shaving is for me, I don't think I have the patients to learn!
Finished with my Progress for a cracking shave...
