Prep: Hot shower
Brush: Polo 8
Razor: Iwasaki + GEM Micromatic for head
Superlather: Dr Harris Almond + Proraso
AS: Old Spice, Fresh Lime
Edt: Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet
Strops: Neil Miller
Result: Very clean :D

Okay, so I thought a touch up on a lv 5 Japanese stone would lift the edge, but it didn't, bit of a shabby shave actually and I needed to do some touch ups I don't normally do. So back to Shapton 16 k and after that some toning down ...

... and the garden looks very nice this time of the year, I don't know what this flower is, but it turned out nice as a pic, I think:

Sunday 2nd June

Prep: Hot shower, Dove men+care face scrub.
Cream: Groomed- face lathered.
Brush: NF 2041 (I think, the 19 pound one).
Razor: Tech head on EJ89 handle.
Blade: Sputnik (2) single shim.
Post: Witch Hazel, Steves Barbershop Bay Rum, RSC Post Shave Balm.

Forgot the shavette (probably a wise thing to do) so just went with the DE. Wow, what a comfortable, and smooth shave. The tech head shimmed isn't as aggressive as the EJ head shimmed, but it does make it a much more effective razor, which is still very very tame. The combination of that and the Sputnik blade has given me the most comfortable shave I've ever had. I couldn't tell if there was a blade in or not, except for the fact my beard disappeared! This cream is really starting to impress me, too, as is this brush. I like a bit of scritchiness, so it's lovely face lathering with this. Held more than enough lather for my 2 pass shave, both ATG today, as it was so comfortable to do it. Feeling smooth, suave and sophisticated ;). I jest, but it's a really really close shave, dare I even whisper the phrase BBS.....

Happy Sunday people, enjoy it.

Hot shower
Proraso pre, green
New Forest 1901, Tabac stick
Merkur Progress (#2.5), Personna Lab Blue (1)
Cold splash, alum block
Clinique post-shave soother

Excellent shave... my love affair with the Merkur Progress proceeds apace. Think I'll try it on #3 tomorrow, but going out today and just wanted a fuss-free shave. Got down to my last Personna Lab Blue... good excuse now to buy a shed load of stuff from Connaught's

It's weekend, so I went for a smooth three pass shave :)

Prep: shower, and face wash with Palmolive soap bar
Cream: Balea Sensitive (decent cream, nothing fancy)
Brush: Omega 10019 boar brush (with a modified handle)
Razor: MÜHLE R89
Blade: Personna Red (my favourite blade)
Aftershave: Nivea Sensitive

The only difference with yesterday is that I did a two pass shave this morning :)

Prep: Village Barber Oil
Cream: Dr Harris - Windsor
Brush: NF Tubby 1
Razor: weber DLC/ UFO Red Bronze Goliath XL
Post: Village Barber Balm mixed with 444

A nice change from the pass around fat boy, I love the way Village Barber makes my skin feel but it does leave me rather red faced.
