Prep: Hot shower, Dove men+care face scrub.
Cream: Groomed- face lathered.
Brush: NF 2041 (I think, the 19 pound one).
Razor: Tech head on EJ89 handle.
Blade: Sputnik (2) single shim.
Post: Witch Hazel, Steves Barbershop Bay Rum, RSC Post Shave Balm.
Forgot the shavette (probably a wise thing to do) so just went with the DE. Wow, what a comfortable, and smooth shave. The tech head shimmed isn't as aggressive as the EJ head shimmed, but it does make it a much more effective razor, which is still very very tame. The combination of that and the Sputnik blade has given me the most comfortable shave I've ever had. I couldn't tell if there was a blade in or not, except for the fact my beard disappeared! This cream is really starting to impress me, too, as is this brush. I like a bit of scritchiness, so it's lovely face lathering with this. Held more than enough lather for my 2 pass shave, both ATG today, as it was so comfortable to do it. Feeling smooth, suave and sophisticated
. I jest, but it's a really really close shave, dare I even whisper the phrase BBS.....
