A nice shave, though the CADE shaving cream felt like a thin film had been left.

My first SOTD entry

4men pre shave oil

Muhle R89

Gillette 7 o'clock yellow

Body shop macca root shave cream

Gecko hand made boar brush

Hot water rinse

Cold water rinse

Alum rub

Splash of home made aftershave

WTG pass
XTG pass x2

Equates to my finest shave yet, nice and close, with no soreness or redness.

First time using yellows and first time using alum rub - loved them both !

First shave with my new to me GEM Featherweight finished in gold tone.

IMG_5091.JPG

Hot Towel
Arko Stick
Pure Badger
GEM Featherweight (Gold)
GEM Stainless PTFE [3]
Hot Rinse, Cold Rinse & Alum Wash
Old Spice Aftershave

Face Lathered
Two Pass - WTG & XTG

Quite a rough shave if the truth be told.

Just a single day's growth and I thought the mildness of the GEM Featherweight would be just right, but I think the blade might have been pushed a little too far. Binned.

Old Spice made up for everything. Love it!
