Greetings All,

Monday shave.

Two growth and warm shave

Preparation – face washed with Clique Liquid facial soap (mild)

Pre: None
Soap: P&B Citra Royale
Razor: Rockwell 6C (3P)
Blade: Shark SS (3rd)
Brush: Razorock 400 (face lather)

Post Shave: Hot then cold water rinse, a shower and to conclude with Nivea Sensitive Cooling.

This morning, after a rich meal (with copious amounts of wine) I thought I need a restful shave. So, like putting on an old comfortable coat, I bought out the P&B Citra Royale, whipped up an awesome lather (getting the water content right is now like second nature – I do not bloom) with the Razorock 400 and my whiskers sliced away with a Shark, housed within my Rockwell 6c. And. . .

Wonderful. Three leisurely passes (WTG, XTG and ATG) a few touch ups and I feel good and slicker than, well Catherine Zeta Jones's legging (you know the scene).

Great way to start the week.

Cheers,

Brian

Hi Paul,
How does it compare with a Streamline/1914 Shave.

Horrible looking outside so on my late weekend I decided to do something....which for me is unusual. I had my first traditional Straight shave in somewhere around 4 years.
Three passes for a DFS+ shave....only downgraded because of a small spot on my adam's apple. More work might have been 'a buff too far' so I stopped rather than ruin the experience.

Take care everyone....it's very windy, and I dont think I have ever seen it so dark at 10.30 am:(

Focus r48 se razor with 3rd use feather blade. Meißen Moroccan rhassoul cream.

This razor always delivers a very comfortable shave, done after 2 passes plus touch up. Touch up after rinsing, no cream.

The cream is new to me. To be honest, I think any decent brand gives great results, but this brand has some unusual scents. This is spicy to my mind. Also love the heavy glass jar.

Shavemac Americana D01 Silvertip
Gillette Rocket HD
Personna Super (3)
Crabtree & Evelyn Moroccan Myrrh
Thayers Rose, Crabtree & Evelyn Moroccan Myrrh Balm and Cologne

A very nice shave with the Personna/Gillette combination. No issues at all, being a very black and bleak day here I used my Little Wren Scuttle, very nice to have warm lather for the shave, warm and beautifully scented. Love this soap and scent, I think I'll hold off on using it again until nearer christmas, a festive scent for me.
