Shave soap: Scent from Heaven Blue Stratos
Aftershave: Blue Stratos
Cologne: Blue Stratos

A good shave and, though I say so myself, I smell great.
 
New cream wife got me on her way home from the UK :) love it so far just don't know what aftershave to pair it with, any thoughts?

Quorum followed by VC&A is as impressive as 'the Veg' & Eucris. What a scent! Not the same, just similar in effect and combination.

Never seen that handle on a tech. Is it custom-made ?
 
Smashing, innit? I do like the heavier base on the earlier Techs and the twin slot feels right. I am impressed with the handle - other (crappier) travel sets don't fit together quite so impressively or collapse down quite so neatly. Bravo, Gillette!

Coming back to DEs after a long(ish) stint with SEs, I'm not finding a whole heap of difference between any blades I use ... I can drop a Derby into an R41 or a Sputnik into a Tech and get the self same efficient, smooth shave. Granted, the R41 will do a one pass on several day's growth, but the feel and the final effect are so narrowly banded to me now. But noted. I have some Rapira, so I'll try those next time I'm working my way through the early '40s :D
