Wednesday

3P preshave cream
Fitjar Slatteroy Shaving cream
New Forest Tubby 1 Brush
Cobra Classic with Feather Super Pro (#3)
Witch Hazel
Argan Oil
Ogallala Bay Rum Sage and Cedar

Another excellent 2 pass and touchup shave. The Super Pros are the Feather blade of choice for me.
At this stage the Feather Pros would be starting to feel rough.

Razor.....Hone type 15 (brass)
Blade....Polsilver Stainless ( Lodz Poland)
Soap....Gingers Garden Vanilla Sugar

A smooth N mild but effective shave from the Hone & Polsilver, left as smooth as I require ( BBS) with no irritation whatsoever .finnished off with the fab BBA Post Shave Balm and a body spray of Molecule 01.

The sample of soap I used, Gingers Garden - Vanilla Sugar was very good indeed and whipped up into a beautiful creamy lather with great Slide N Glide and great protection.

Wishing you all a great day.......:)

Wednesday's caravan shave

Face wash Nivea Men Sensitive
Mason Pearson pure badger
Palmolive cream
Merkur 37c / Astra SP (1)
Homemade Tea Tree Witch Hazel
Old Spice Original A/S

Simple shave this morning, no pre or post shave used except the witch hazel.
The Palmolive cream as always was reliable and a pleasure to use.
The post shave feel is really good, hence no post shave balm.
Anyone on a tight budget could do a lot worse than using Palmolive all the time.
Three passes and I'm left silky smooth, and the old spice is a winner too!

my condolences go to those poor souls affected by the fire in London. I was bought up in that area.

Brush: Vie Long 04503
Razor: Gillette Rocket HD
Blade: Voskhod (1)
Soap: Cella
Post: Thayers Rose, Aloe Vera Gel & 4711 aftershave and cologne

An intermittently sunny day here, a later than normal shave as I decided to tackle the hedge! Took longer than expected. A great relaxing cold water shave was had, I am converted and aside from soaking my brushes in warm water I am entirely converted. The Vie Long is a pleasure to use, if you havent used a horse hair brush before then please do, they are fantastic when broken in. Cella is quickly becoming a favourite, really enjoying it this week.

(Proraso green Wednesday)
SOTD 14th June.JPG
Pre Shave: Hot Shower, L'Oreal Pure Power Face Wash and Proraso Green
Razor: iKon 103 + Bulldog Handle
Blade: Wilkinson Sword England (#9)
Brush: Proraso Boar
Soap: Proraso Green
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Humphrey's Witch Hazel
AS: Proraso Lotion

Excellent shave today, I have not used the iKon 103 that much, but I think this is the best shave I have had using this razor so far. The NOS Wilkinson Sword blade still going well on shave 9, nice smooth and close shave. The Proraso green products leaving my face cooled but not frozen.

Pre: Valobra Glicerlanolina soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Tony Forsyth P&C LE 2017 Platypus
Soap: Cella
Razor: Merkur Futur (2)
Blade: Personna Lab Blue (2)
Post: Myrsol Emulsion
Splash: APR Winterfell

Another great shave. Got a bit careless with the effortless performance of the Futur, and suffered a nick on the chin. Otherwise, pretty much spot on.
Three comfortable passes for a very close shave. The Winterfell is a worthy addition to the formidable APR Stable - a brilliant interpretation of Chypre. I love the Landanum in the base notes, adding a slightly sinister edge to the otherwise elegant spice/wood/forest vibe.
