Hot flannel
TOBS Lavender cream bowl lathered
Simpson Commodore x3 best badger brush
Gillette Aristocrat 66
Polsilver super iridium (2)
Cold rinse
Thayers Lavender witch hazel
Sir Irisch moos aftershave balsam

Lovely shave today, the Lavender cream is a bit strange vivid purple colour :icon_rolleyes:
Been Blackberry picking again this afternoon loads out there this year. My mate gave me some apples as well. I was weighed down walking home :icon_razz:

Saturday Evening

Prep: hot shower
Razor: Webber on wave handle
Blade:Gillette "Swede" (2)
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Best
Soap: DR Harris Soap Stick, Windsor
A/S: DR Harris Windsor
Cologne/EdT DR Harris, Windsor

Leant out my Digress, so back to Webber. Borrowed Chubby from a forum member. WOW. It certainly performs when face lathering.

Not sold on the Swede's. Prefer the English Wilkies.

Luxury shave today :)

After the usual 1-2 minute hot towel prep:

vintage Simpsons best
'Webly'/Wilkinson Light Brigade (NOS)
The Soap Opera Himalaya SS
Barbershop bay rum (felt like a little zing this morning. Great example of what a bay rum frag should be.
L'Artisan L'eau du Navigateur EdT (old juice)

Last three shaves have been with this same soap. Really good stuff. There was a time when I used this most days.

BBS results,

Martin

I was just thinking about using three different fragrances in my shave today, all of which I really like the smell of. Something strange here that I won't dwell on........

Van de Hagen Deluxe (I think)
Progress on 2
Sputnik Teflon
Turkish no. 6
TOBS Mr. Sidney a/s

This soap is, to me, indistinguishable from the Surrey stuff.
Started the shave with this blade in a Rotbart no. 20 but it was draggy and not close. Excellent in the Progress though.
Haven't used this aftershave for a while and really enjoyed it. Thanks again to the good old Graeme Gairdner for this juice.

Had my first magnificent shave with the ikon slant today. Maybe I've found the right blade on my sixth go with this razor.

Prep: hot water face wash with Boots No7 face wash
Soap: La Toja stick
Razor: UFO Kaiser with Ikon Slant head
Blade: Polsilver (2)
Brush: Frank Pur Tech Synthetic
Post: Alum and Barbershop bay rum
