S.O.T.D. Sat. 21st Sept. to Frid. 27th Sept. 2013

THURSDAY EVENING

Prep : Warm rinse
Razor : Cobra Classic
Blade : Feather Professional
Brush : TSN Shavemac 2013
Soap : Fitjar Shea pleasure - bowl lathered
Post: Witch hazel & IK balm

Best shave of the week. The Fitjar takes loads and loads of water, but it's really protecting.

Can't understand why the Trumpers has been so rubbish this week. It's been great in the past.

I do rather like this brush and the ridiculous amounts of lather it creates :)

I love that brush too. TBH I could use just that and sell my others (more chance of a snowflake in hell).

Friday

Prep : clinique face soap
Razor : ikon deluxe oc

Cream : tobs avocado
Post shave : superdrug forest fresh

End the week like I started with a shark ss. Glad I revisited these as this was a really smooth and comfortable shave. Nice way to end the week

Thursday

Prep: Hot shower
Razor: Webber on classic handle
Blade: Med Prep (2)
Brush: Semogue 830
Soap: DR Harris Windsor
A/S: DR Harris Windsor
Cologne/Edt DR Harris, Windsor

Not a lot of time yesterday as heading to a wedding. As such, did not have time for a second practice with the new Feather AS-D1.

The Webber is easy and fairly quick. Windsor is unbeatable. The Semogue is a nice brush indeed. Handle fits perfect. It cannot beat Badger on creams, but I have a few soap sticks, so it will be used for face lathering for the next wee while, in rotation with my newly acquired SOC.

On holiday for two weeks, so not having to shave daily. Is that a good thing?

Result: A bit of luxury this morning to celebrate my 46th birthday. Wonderful soap, wonderful brush, wonderful razor, wonderful blade. Wonderful all round. And I got a "Best Daddy in the World" badge from my daughter, so life is pretty damn good this morning.

All the best, Gents.

Happy birthday fella!

Is that like a litre of cologne you've got there?

Thanks Mach...Looks big in that pic I admit, it is quarter of a litre, so I pretty big bottle. Just as well, as I use so much of it! Great value too - £9 from Man Machine. Can't argue with that.
