I don't want any more razors...I want TobyC's face! All of my razors give me the same perfect shave every time.
Go for it dude!..... Must not type childish response.... Must not....
On just about every forum, the general consensus is that the Slim adjustable is more efficient and smooth compared to the Fatboy. I have never owned either as I view the adjustable aspect to be nothing more than a senseless gimmick.
For me it's the Personna Med Prep, although I get on with most blades. The main one I avoid is the Polsilver SI.Whats everyones thought on best blade they've used in the rex
Not really. Quick scrub with a toothbrush at every blade change and occasional ultrasonic bath if I'm storing it to use another razor in the rotation. Few drops of mineral oil and they're good as new.I've thought about a Gillette Adjustable but I've been put off as I imagine they'd be more work to clean/maintain than 3 piece razors, but like I am I don't really clean my 3 piece razors as much as I should!
Exactly what you've just done. If it looks ok, it is ok. My first one had an alignment issue so it was swapped. I'll see if I can find the pic to give you an idea of what we're on aboutSorry for sounding ignorant but how do i check the alignment ?
it certainly looks ok by eye
what should i be looking for ?
Even better, I remember a thread made on this by the forum's most handsome member. I hear his bedroom is much less of a tip now.Exactly what you've just done. If it looks ok, it is ok. Rex Ambassador Blade Alignment
I thought I'd treat myself to a premium razor as an early birthday present. After much research, I settled on the Rex Ambassador as its range will have something that works for me. I didn't want to buy something that ended up being too mild or aggressive for my liking. Anyway, it arrived today...www.theshavingroom.co.uk
good shout mate (that's) possibly what iv doneI don't have one of these razors, but I dod recall someone else saying their first shave was rubbish. They then discovered they hadn't pushed the blade down until it clicked. Just a thought!
