Panta Rei is a brand that evokes a number of different opinions when it's brought up.
Opinions range all the way from that the designs are simple, childish and straight out ugly...to people who see these designs as pieces of functional art.

I haven't quite figured out where I fall on that spectrum but there IS, I must admit, something about the designs that conjure up thoughts of childhood, playfulness and straight out fun that I find strangely appealing.

Probably one of the easiest way to get one of Alessandro's products (he makes brush handles, bottles, mugs, etc) is on the Panta Rei Etsy site
(I believe all his prices are inclusive of tracked international shipping)

Now, I wonder how many would be interested in a TSR Panta Rei brush with a custom design for TSR? :D
(No, I'm not organizing one but I like the idea ;) )

He has done club/forum brushes in the past such as, for instance, this one;

Anywho, are you fan of his work...or find it to be..well...less visually appealing?

I have to say I cannot understand the love for these on UKWSS. My personal opinion is that my children could do better with the artwork, but my biggest issues is that all it would take is one drop in the sink and SMASH it's gone.

Don't get it, but plenty do apparently.

A simple TSR logo brush could look OK, but just don't drop it!!! ;-)

Here's mine...
Yes the handle is heavy, but I don't find the handle slippery at all. Dry hand + dry handle = no slip.
Personally, I really like the childlike designs and bold colours but can see why others wouldn't.
This is by far my favourite and most used brush. Supersoft, superdense and a ton of backbone.
When I got it this was the only style handle option and just afterwards Alessandro started to introduce the other shapes, which I prefer.

Are the painted handles coated in any way to protect them?
