The Personna 74 is still holding up very well. The Elite razor brush with the Sunset knot is excellent.

In 1931 Gillette started issuing the Goodwill razors - when buying a tuck of 10 "new model" blades one would receive a Goodwill razor for free (as promotion).

Pre Shave: Hot Shower + L'Oreal Birch Sap Face Wash and Proraso white
Razor: iKon 103
Blade: Timor (#2)
Brush: Razorock 400
Cream: The Traditional Shaving Company - Leodis
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Thayers Lavender Witch Hazel
AS: Nivea Soothing Balm.

2nd shave with the Timor blade, this shave and the last with an iKon 101 have given nice smooth and close shaves, a very nice blade but also very expensive. I can't see me buying any more of these blades, not when much cheaper and as good or if not even better blades are available, such as an Astra SP.

On my week of croaps, I got it arse about face, and used my favourite (Vitos) first and this, my least favourite, last.
It's not a bad soap, lathers quickly, has some cushion and slickness but not as much as the others and post shave isn't great.
I've used worse soaps and I've had far worse shaves, all in all not a bad Friday shave.

A few shaves ago I dropped this brush and it has shedded every shave since, not today, hopefully it's back to normal.
A very nice Saturday shave.

Boy...did I enjoy today's shave! This week has been a running battle with Powys Council. My route to work has had ongoing road works which have required a day time road closure for a week. On Monday I was caught out resulting in an additional 24miles travel to and from work. Thereafter it was a competition. As soon as I saw flashing lights outside the house it was a race for the car to get through before the road was closed. By the end of the week....I was leaving a full 45min before my normal departure. Consequently I have had 5 days of rushed shaves. Today I was able to take my time and enjoy it
Three passes this morning for a fantastic BBS shave. Enjoy your weekend everyone:)
