Its a great soap but you do need to keep at it with the lather. I now get consistent top notch lather all the time from it but it took a while to get it. I put water in the bowl containing the puck ( so effecively soak it as mantic says) leave for a few mins then drain, a good loading with a damp brush, paint on face, load the brush again, then back to the face adding water. I used to get the lather drying out on me, but now it stays moist throughout the shave. Definitely one to have in the rotation IMO. And I love the smell!!
As a comparison, I do find sharons soap just as good, and they are definitely easier to lather.
