New Handle

Believe it or not I managed to snaffle a little cnc lathe two weeks ago. It needed a couple of drive pcb's converted to get it to work, at around 250 quid to get it going I ended up swapping it for a dividing head that I had been after for ages. I wish I had kept the lathe now as it would make things much easier. Write a few programs, stick the material in and press start. Come back in half an hour and job done.

DOH!!!!!

As promised earlier here is another variation I made today.
Sorry for the crapy photo but it will give you the idea. It is 5mm longer than yesterdays effort and a bit heavier due to the extra bit of brass on the bottom.

Stainless steel Ikon Bulldog is 65g according to my scales and the stainless steel handle from a Feather AS-D1 is 60g - you want length and girth too? (ohh-err vicar)

No thanks but swmbo does, I am afraid she shall have to keep wanting:icon_lol:

But thanks for the weights, my scales have dissapeared yet again (the kids invisible cakes!) but I have a very sneaky suspicion these handles are heavier, by quite a bit.

cheers
