I thought Strava 'did' swimming... Or is it just a time & distance log rather than the full geek-o-rama?

Well obviously it won't allow swim on the phone version - too many arsewits would take their phones into the water and moan at (or sue) Strava for encouraging it by having the log option in the app...

It does offer some basic swim info...and that's all I need as I don't do interval training. Time for a Garmin I reckon

Well... The 910xt is probably about to be discontinued since the FÄ“nix 2 is clearly being positioned to take its place.
Downside is that the 910xt is mature and most of the bugs will be ironed out, the F2 is new so you'll be with the early adopters...

Fenix2 looks good.
Couldn't be arsed charging it up all the time though.

With the FÄ“nix (1) I get 12-14 hours of GPS enabled action with no power saving options enabled... So it will happily go a week or more without charging. GPS off it should go for weeks.
