Hi all

I was just wondering who is gong to be doing movember this year. I did it last year but did it with a beard as well.

With my new fond proper shaving hobby it will just be the moustache this year.

I'll be in this year though I don't think I'll keep going till I get the handlebar this time (SWMBO WILL BE OBEYED OR YOU WILL SUFFER!!). If you had a beard then you didn't do Movember last year, it has to be a mouse tache all on it's own - no joining it to anything it's in the rules.

Ok so I will be doing it properly this year. Moustache from the outset with a good clean start.

Can still enjoy shaving the rest of my face though.

For me to do it, I'd need to lose the lower part of the goatee.

a - SWMBO would not be impressed
b - I'd look like a low rent 1970's porn actor
c - I'd have to re-learn how to shave my chin with all the blood such re-learning would involve

So all things considered, I'll give it a miss.

First time for me. I have some pretty important meetings in the first week of November and may struggle to explain it away. I thought of stopping shaving earlier to steal something of a head start, but the guys at work will boot me off the team if I cheat so... I've been told.

I'm going for it this year. I began last year but none of the lads I was doing it with bothered, or just kept their 'stashe hidden in a beard waiting until there was a decent amount of growth before the big reveal. I'm sad to say I chickened out of going it alone last year. Not going to happen this year, I'm going to be tash-tastic!

My facial hair growth is spasmodic so I am hoping SWMBO doesn't realise until mid month. Two residential conferences will help but a mid month black tie ball may be my undoing.
