Just to let you know that I've been on the wait list for a cobra for 15 months... Executive Shaving have the King Cobras available in case anyone is looking for one. I was lucky enough to snap up a classic.

Yes. I prefer the King Cobra to the Mongoose.

Didn't fancy one at full price?

That's a whole lot of money, sold my Classic because of the flimsy closing mechanism and this looks more of the same. Maybe it's better but I'm not willing to pay that amount to find out.

I think they changed the locking mechanism slightly on last years models. I have the King and it locks pretty tightly.

It's not as well built as the Mongoose, but for me it shaves better.

Wow! 195 quid? That's crazy money! The batch-2 mongoose was nearly half that.
I'm surprised the TSR code had limitations.
Cazier than a Weber DLC being offered for £250 or a Muhle Jet being offered for £180?

Yes it's expensive, but I'm sure you will agree Erik - RAD kicks in and when you have to have it, you just have to have it.

Hi there,

Both versions use the same basic angle as a Schick injector and they are not like using a DE razor. Different technique with that sorta razor. Plus, shaving with one of those very stiff and sharp Cobra type blades is not like using DE blades.

Most people really like one or both Cobra types. Not too aggressive for many people, but you need to pay attention during the shave.
