Everyone on here should have a small collection of brushes to enable others to make an informed choice about what to try next.
Once upon a time I had around 100 across brands.
Now I have two Kents, one Simpsons, one Trumpers plus boxfuls of another brand!

Agreed - or you don't know what you like. I've sold a Kent BK8 (too big) and a Wee Scot (too small). Now my brush range is ~22mm knots with ~95mm overall height (give or take a few mm)

What's the one Simpsons that you've kept?

It's Simpson but these days I need to broaden my horizons and will buy trying other brands to add to the 20 or so. The balance is all wrong at the moment.

  4. Vie-Long horse & badger
  5. Grosvenor 404 "Bodger"
  6. Dickinson & Gilroy
  7. Frank Shaving Finest Badger turnbuckle
  8. Russian news kiosk brush
  9. Vulfix 2234 (I think) huge thing
  10. Need Elm Burl 1940 Farthing (for my Dad, if he makes it to his birthday in May)

A Thater to come in the summer along with a Dr Dittmar brush. A dozen in all.
