Wow, hadn't thought about how DE blades were made. A surprising number of production stages (newbie opinion) involved in the making of these.
Thanks for posting the you tube link it certainly opened my eyes and I learnt a thing or two.
I like the term traditional, but I'll be showing this video to a few around me that term DE shaving old fashioned. DE blade production looks pretty hi-tech to me and I don't see anything old fashioned about DE shaving. Skilful? Yes. Try fashioning a DE blade from primitive tools :lol:
This video coupled with a few pics of a Feather AS, a PILS and a Merkur Futur would make an excellent promo tool that might encourage cartridge users to give DE shaving a try
Riiiiiight, Am I alone in watching that thinking - that plastic isnt going to last 50 years, neither is that spring - thank god I have an iKon 3 piece????
