Bit of research

Got my brush blank demoulded tonight. That gives it the rest if the week to harden before turning it at the weekend

I use several types of bowls, plus a scuttle. But I'm finding now with a bowl I want something about 2-3 inches deep and about 5 inches across, ceramic or earthenware, with a bit of weight to it. Or my Georgetown Pottery scuttle.
For brushes, the knot isn't too important. I use them all; horse, boar badger and synth. If pressed, 22mm bulb shaped Silvertip badger FTW.
I prefer a longer handle, with shape that fits the hand well. My two favorites are artisan made handles by Matthew North Marting (Brushguy), or John Michaud (Johnsbrushes). Both have a 22mm Virginia Sheng silvertip, which is a great knot for me.
