Acquisitions - week Feb. 7th to 13th incl.

I like that ball end tech there Sunbury, is that a travel model (do they exist?) or is it just the angle making it look short?

The postman today brought me a British aluminium ball end tech, from a deal with Mikael. Cheers!

A Fatboy from the States, liberated through the intervention of the Bay. Lovely condition.

And, with his usual breathtaking speed, some harder shaving soap in lemon from the Prof. So lemony I feel the urge for a gin and tonic. The only way the Prof will improve his performance is if he starts despatching my order before I actually place it.

And, thanks to a number of good write ups around here I invested a huge sum in a Palmolive shaving stick. Having used it twice I have invested some more of the family gold reserves in two more sticks. Some of my work days start at around 4 or 5 am and I don't have the time, energy or concentration to do difficult things then. With the Prof for later starts and the weekend and Palmolive for the earlies I am fairly much good to go on the facial lubrication front.

So thank you TSR!

6/8 full hollow ground carbon steel with rosewood scales.
Mikael recommended Revisor to me and said they were excellent razors with a "buttery smoothness" to them.

I didn't know what that was or how it could apply to a steel blade..................until this morning!!!!!!!

Ding dong! Thanks for the recommendation Mikael

Did I say that? Youré most welcome! Well, they´re good, aren´t they!? Very good for a newly made straight razor, I think.

Yep a tiny little travel model, it's quite funky really, gonna give it a go maybe tomorrow, looks too small but feels fine in the hand and moving round the face...

Technically this is last weeks, but I only got round to opening it this morning.
A sample of

J Peterman 1903 shave cream.
WOW
Its bloody great - smells fantastic, lathers like mad, smooth as silk.
Costs as much to ship to the UK as it does to buy a tub ($27) :(
Will ask my mother to get some on her next shopping trip to NYC.

When you are finished with the fun tryout, do let me know if you don't want to hold on to it. I'm keen on a travel razor... may be too mild for me but it sure does look nice.

That is quite lovely.

A New Forest 2206, many thanks Peter for the excellent service and fast delivery.
What a lovely brush, that is, I have to say. Happens to be ergonomically a better fit for my hand, compared to the 2201 I have.

A tub of T and H West Indian Limes from Executive Shaving

And for Mrs ScottyMac a bunch of flowers from Boab,Pedro,Max,Tazz, and MOL.

A very nice surprise for Mrs Scotty and she thanks you all very much.

This is what make TSR the best Forum

Cheers lads

Received the Prof's brute splash and also a mint condition Rocket HD500, by mint I mean it just needs a clean, so much for not having a DE, it'll go great next to the Rolls Razor I'm waiting for!

As soon as paypal give me my refund I'll pay for the Ehsan from Antdad, I'm looking forward to that!
