Some Superthins, Ascos and Gems and an American made Ever Ready from T'bay not a 1912 head anyone know what type it is?

Hi there,

I believe (fairly sure) you have what's called a 'shovel head' SE type. From what I've read, they're supposed to be good shavers.

Just arrived this afternoon:= short Vulfix badger brush. I originally bought an Omega brush with large knot and high loft - bit of a handfull when face lathering.
The Vulfix seem really nice - can't wait to shave in the morning :D

Bugger!

That's the Ever Ready I bid on, and lost!

This week I bought a couple of Mizuno MX Fli-Hi hybrid clubs (#4 and #5) ... off to the range later to try them out.

I did not get on with my Wilson Hybrids, to the extent I now just carry a Calloway: Driver, 3W & 7W, Wilson Staff: 6-SW & Ping Anser. The Calloway 7W was an eBay special (LH, Reg Flex Graphite, just needed re-gripping) - cost inc. postage £12 :D

It is so good, I could play a whole round and just use this, PW & putter and probably do better than I do any other time  :?

It's a mugs game, no time to play - Oi Fox, where's my redundancy email! ;)

After saying that I am not going to buy any more soaps or creams,

I received a 170g jar of Martin de candre soap today that I ordered after being 'inspired' by antdads group buy that I missed out on.

with it came a little dinky bottle of shampoo(ing) and a small block with 'fougere' written on the top - presumably free samples :D

I now know why MDC's shipping is so high, because of the vast amount of polystyrene 'cheesy wotsits' they pack the unnecessarily large box with!

also a 6/8 D.C Halstead wedge (near wedge) and a 6/8 Wade and Butcher 'celebrated Rattler'

all in all a good day :D

I'm planning to hang my pen up at 50 (just under 10 years) and spend my days golfing, fishing and looking at porn on the internet.

As for the clubs - I'm a real novice and had read how beginners 'need' hybrids because they can't use long irons. Strange that, as I was hitting my #3 iron straight and long if a bit low.

Tried the hybrids out tonight and was getting about 180 / 195 out of the #4 so I'm chuffed with that.

A 7 Wood you say? I have a 3 and a 5 (MD Golf) so I can see a 7 in my future to give me some options on longer Par 3s. Not forked out for a Driver yet, as I'm sure one of those bad boys will lead to a 6-hour round and £30 worth of Titleist NXTs lost.

Get me! I sound like I know what the **** I'm on about.

Cover with grated cheese and they would be, they are actually made from edible cornstarch. Freaked the dog a bit.

A Dr Harris almond soap sample from Vinny, thanks mate!

Tin of Nannys Ice and a Slice soap

3 felt straight razor sleeves and a samle of soap from Olivias

The Ice and Slice is tremendous well done Sharon!
