Or could be a heavily tarnished Tuckaway...

I scrubbed it up with some toothpaste last night - as suggested (that worked wonders - thanks!) - and it's come up quite well so far.

Going to have a look for a light abrasive and will post another couple of pics when I get it cleaned up some more.

I clean my Rolex this way sometimes and it works pretty well... (it's not tarnished though as you can probably imagine).

Yeah it's strange that, i had a look at Achims site and there are 3 or 4 razors that are the same, just different cases....Milady, Tuckaway, chesterfield etc etc.

one day i am gonna rob Achim, have you seen his display cabinets, damn he has some good stuff !!!, must of cost him thousands !!!

if you go near a halfords or any car shop, get some autosol or peek polish, and give it a GENTLE rub, and then buff with a microfible cloth, too hard and you can do more damage, (especially if on a valuable Razor), i know this razor looks pretty beat up but it will look miles better after some metal polish

Well, here's a few photos of the razor after the toothpaste treatment:

Starting to look better already...

And on the way home tonight, I popped into a Halfords and picked up some Autosol (I remember using this many, many years ago to shine the wheels, first on my bicycle and then on my Ford Escort!)

This has resulted in a HUGE improvement - although the photos are a bit rough - should have got my camera out instead of relying on my phone! :D

This looks a completely different item to when I picked up at the car boot on Sunday!
