Greetings,
A relaxing Easter sunday morning shave,
I can't recall when i last used my Gillette Aluminum Handle Tech...I had all intentions to use my much loved 1966 gillette slim twist again for the shave but changed my mind at the last minute and used my aluminum Handle Tech S4 instead which gave me an amazingly comfortably shave.A great razor & blade duo. What i wasn't sure about though was pairing it up with the derby extra,as I normally pair it up my with a Gillette SB or a 7'OClock SharpEdge (yellow) to give it a more assertive cutting edge, but after my close shave with the Muhle R41 yesterday the derby extra was a good choice to remove the small amount of stubble left behind making my face feel super smooth again...Another razor that i should add more often to my razor rotation.it's easy to understand why tradtional wet shavers world wide love this humble classic razor design.
A very enjoyable 3 pass + pick ups silky smooth shave with no errors to report.
Finishing the shave off with a generous dollop of Aloe Vera Gel.
My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling devine.
Have a safe peaceful easter sunday Ladies & Gentlemen.
