Yeah they have a nice almost industrial look to them that I rather like.

I have just returned from Tesco and there is a shelf full of Christmas sweets on display, there is something quite obscene about that in September when I have yet to put away my flipflops. It would seem that this years Christmas crap has even beaten the tacky Halloween rubbish to the shelves!

This is a cracking blade and worked very well in the Hone 15a.
The smell from the bay rum OSP was intoxicating, wonderful .
A lovely smooth and efficient shave was the result of this blade, razor and soap combination.

Shaving recipe for today.

• warm shower./ Cien Men Green Kick Shower Gel & Shampoo / warm wet flannel to my face.
• Razor: parker 22R .
• Blade:derby Extra. (new)
• Brush: Semogue 1470.
• Soap:Blue Brand Goat's Milk Tallow + 4 drops of Glycerin in soap tin.
• Bloom water face wash .
• Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.
• Alum.
• Witch Hazel/Groomed Cool it post shave balm.
• Post:Arko Gold Power Cologne Aftershave.
• Next no:85 EAU.
• Everytime i use blue goat's milk tallow, i get a superb shave, today was no exception..i've found a soap that is totally matched to my skin type, i suppose i'm lucky most soaps& creams i've used haven't had a reaction to my skin, i've had the odd irritation burns, but that was probably down to me been to cocky, adding pressure to the razor, rushing & not applying a proper technique to my shaving...yes another wonderful 3 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report.Enjoy your day gentlemen.
