Are these fake Posilver SI ?

Hi all, I've been using Posilver SI for some time and I recently restocked with an order from Paul at Connaught. I had a shave with one this morning and the difference was apparent straight away, the blade nearly took my face off! It was really rough and very sore, so much so I had to stop straight away. I finished off with an Astra and it was fine so I knew my face wasn't just reacting.

Has anyone seen the blades like in the picture ? Like I said I've used hundreds of the SIs and never seen them like these.

Ps this is in no way a dig at Pauls shop or service which was as ever first class.
 
The blades do indeed look unusual. Mine say SUPER IRIDIUM® and EXTRA STAINLESS in a crisp, bold font. The printing on yours looks wrong and poor quality. I think you should contact Paul. Mind you, I've had one or two duff PolSilvers, but normally they are brilliant. I haven't bought mine from Paul though, so it might just be a different batch...

I agree I've had many before that had Super Iridium on them. These just feel wrong and really really rough !

I've just sent the picture in an email to him. Like I said it's a shame if they are, I've used Paul's website loads of times and it's always been faultless. I suppose some may slip through the net if he buys bulk.
 
Paul is 100% trustworthy. He'd never knowingly sell crap.
Psssst... a little tip: look at his ebay shop. Some amazing bargains to be had if you are patient and not trigger happy.
 
I have what seems to be the same things, bought at the end of October. They look the same as the picture and the wrapping of each blade feels "cheaper/grittier". The shave was much rougher but I put it down to having a bad day - they seem to shave as close but perhaps that's my imagination.
