I know it's been 'shave of the week' for me but I couldn't carry on this week, it just wasn't working for me.

The Palmolive although great but for st compare to the other creams I have, and the Simpsons Classic is just hard work to create a lather with compared to the chubby 2 Synthetic, so it's all change!

Prep: Kiehls face wash
Razor: Gillette Proshield
Brush:Simpsons Chubby Synthetic
Cream: Simpsons Rosemary and peppermint
Post: BBA

Back to usual business next week

Pre:
DR Harris shampoo bar,, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Semogue Owners Club Boar

Soap: APR Fougere Bourbon Rose
Razor: Merkur Futur (2)
Blade: Modern Eversharp (1)
Post: Myrsol Emulsion
EDP: APR Aqua Di Sydney

Hotel Room shave. The lather and scent from the APR Fougere Bourbon Rose was wonderful, even if I had to whip it up in the water glass!
Three passes for a DFS+.
And as I am in Sydney, the choice of fragrance was obvious :D

first use of the yintal razor I ordered 2 weeks ago from aliexpress I originally went on there to buy a yaqi brush and ended up ordering 3 and this razor , the build quality for a razor under £10 its excellent it does have a few little marks on the top cap but nothing to bad cant complain the handle is quit heavy and feels nice when I loaded the blade I thought it was going to be an aggressive razor because the blade gap its wider than some of my other razors but I was wrong it wasn't aggressive and it gave me one of the closest shaves iv had to date so was worth the wait and definitely worth the money ... have a great day folks :D

Barrister & Mann Seville (sample)
Simpsons Classic 1 “Best Badger”
C.Myers & Son 6/8”
Neal's Yard Remedies Aftershave balm

First try with a B&M soap, massive thanks to @Jonmaddock for the generous sample. The scent of Seville is lovely, reminded me of a citrus herbal tea! It lathers easily but is very thirsty, it did prickle my face a little, (that's) the perfume no doubt (scent strength is high) during the shave I found it to be slick but not particularly cushioning, post shave my face was dry and tight, I really needed the balm. I won't be persuing these any further, sorry Jon it's just not for me... I do love the scent though, a real shame as I've heard such good things about B&M but YMMV and all that.

Omega 10005 boar
L`Occitane Cade soap
ER 1912- Peerless Set
Gem S/S [ 3 ]
Alum Rub/Rinse off
Puig Quorum A/S Lotion

ER !912- Rediscovered:)
Having neglected my ER 1912s after an unpleasant Shave with one , decided that it would be unfair not to try them again. Others have said that there are differences in the Shaving performance of them, due to variations in the manufacturing process over the years.

I have now completed my 3rd consecutive shave with ER 1912 from the Bathroom/ Peerless set. I discovered that these models Shave very smoothly without a shim, and are very quiet compared with earlier models. All Three Shaves have been top notch, and are certainly as good as any I have had with other Vintage SE, in terms of ease, comfort and quality of the finished Shave. In fact IMHO the quality of Shave is up there with those I have had with Modern SEs using AC type blades.

I do not know how the ER 1912 compares wth the modern SE/ Gem razor- maybe one day.
Anyway very pleased to have rediscovered the ER 1912.

Soap - Cella
Brush - Omega 80265
Razor - DE89
Blade - Treet Durasharp
Post - Benjamin's Bay Rum

Just over halfway through my Cella week and it's been enjoyable to have some consistency with soap selection. Today's lather was the best so far, I imagine down to remembering how much to load up the brush and getting the water to soap ratio right something which I often forget when rotating soaps daily!

What a lovely refreshing shave. The shaving cream arrived today and was promptly put into action. My initial thoughts are that the product is well packaged and a tiny amount goes a very long way. It produces a very slick lather and I have no complaints after this initial use. Would I recommend it to others? Yes, would I buy it again? Yes. I now look forward to the post shave balm been released in the New Year. Thank you @traditionalshaving

Blade: Astra SP #2
Razor: Fatipe Grande
Soap: NSS Lemon, Basil & Mandarin
Brush: Semogue Boar
Bowl: Steve Woodward
Post: Bulldog Balm
Edt: Izzey Myake

Lovely 2 pass shave with the Grande. A few touch ups left me BBS in most places. I really like the grande but if I had to choose between the Grande and the Piccolo then the Piccolo would be my choice . The brush is nicely broken in and really soft on the face but has plenty of backbone for bowl lathering.
Soap as expected performed superbly. Great scent, Great cushion, Great slickness and post feel.
Finished off with Bulldog Balm and a generous splash of Izzey Myake.

Enjoy your shaves. :)
