SOTD
Pre: Hot Shower
Cream: TOBS Lime Zest
Razor: Feather AS-D2
Brush: DS Cosmetic Kevy Shaves
Blade: Feather (1)
Post: Cold Scottish Water Rinse
A/S: Florida Water
Balm: Aqua Velva 5 in 1

A good shave using the new Lime Zest cream from TOBS, a very nice, bright summery scent. The Feather AS-D2 is a mild razor but works well if you get the angle just right. Florida Water smells great, I only wish the scent hung around for a little longer.

Pre - Shower / Face wash
Soap - TOBS Sandalwood
Brush - RazoRock Bruce (24mm)
Razor - Merkur 34
Blade - Wilkinson (2)
Post - Alum followed by some moisturiser with SPF

A nice enjoyable three pass shave this morning. I do find using this synthetic knot (My first synth) that the lather seems to go everywhere while building a lather. Certainly compared to my badger brushes.

SOTD 23rd June 2020

Razor - Pils 118NL
Blade - Souplex
Soap - OSP Lemon Peppermint & Menthol
Brush - Alpha Outlaw V1, Rhodium Silvertip knot
Post - Thayers Astringent
Frag - Lemon Line - Mancera edp

It's a Scortcher today so a little menthol in my soap was in order!
OSP Lemon, Peppermint & Menthol, what a combination and it works!
A wonderful smooth and close shave from the Pils and Souplex set up.

Untill the next time, be safe be cool!

23 June 2020 – mid-day – gorgeous morning of cycling!

Overall a good shave – tried out the bargain buy Bull Dog cream – struggled a bit with lathering in the bowl. Cream came out quite sloppy so adding the right smallish amount of water with the brush was quite hit and miss. The instructions say “massage into the beard” maybe I try that next time. Quite like the oaty aroma and overall post shave feel. I have breadfruit (baobab) to eat occasionally but don't really know the aroma so couldn't tell. In the end, not too bad for £2.

Prep: Aldi Bath Soap & Nuage Shave Oil
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow 26mm
Razor: MÜHLE R89
Blade: BIC Chrome Platinum
Soap: Bull Dog Sensitive Cream (Baobab – Oat – Willow Herb)
After: Cold Water Splash - Ajanta Alum – Nivea Lotion

Soap...................Tabac
Brush..................Morris and Forndran finest
Razor .................Karve (d)
Blade...................Nacet 1
