SOTD Saturday 2nd December 2017 - Friday 8th December 2017

Evening shave.

BBA Face Wash.
L&L Grooming Bandwagon.
Maseto 30mm Finest.
Little Wren Pottery.
Mongoose B3 + Ikon OSS Handle.
Feather Pro (2).
OSP Barbershop Aftershave Tonic.
BBA Post Shave Balm.

My boss told me we were running late and that I didn't have time to ‘mess around' in the bathroom this morning. So I had to forgo my beloved Sunday morning shave. But of course the upside was that I could have a Sunday evening shave instead. The Bandwagon soap is so slick, and post-shave feel is first class. Have a great week chaps.

Sunday evening shave

RazoRock 400
Wickham 1912 Club Cola
Merkur 37
Wilkinson Sword (old stock Made In England) (1)
Lime witch hazel
Proraso Green ASL
Mr Perfume Green Irish Tweed oil

I thought I would give a slant razor a spin tonight. Paired with the Old stock Wilkinson blade it as a very relaxed affair.
I try not to use these blades too often as I only have less than 100 of them left. They are so much better than the Wilkinson blades sold in shops these days.
The Club Cola soap doesn't need much encouragement to transform in to a protective lather, and it smells good too.
No errors or irritation to report. A very effective whisker whacking indeed.
Proraso is my favourite aftershave. The performance is top notch
Mr Perfume oil applied behind my ears and a little on the wrists. Boy, I sure smell good !

Sotd - Sunday 3/12-

Razor - ER Streamline (loaner)
blade - Corrux (3)
brush - Chubby 2 best
soap - Wickham Super Smooth Imperial Trevor
post - witch hazel
a/s - Old Spice original
balm - Weleda
scent - Creed Tabarome.

Result - great Sunday shave.

Unlike last week - plenty of time for a relaxed Sunday shave - a leisurely plitter about the den to see what to use. Quicker than I expected, using the Streamline has dropped into place - I'm no longer scared of it. I was paying attention granted but I wasn't concerned it was going to bite me at any stage. It achieves that difficult trick with razors - very assertive but mild on the skin. The results are as good as from any razor I have used. I'll have another shave with it and then send it back home. It will be missed but I can console myself with the fact I have a near mint English 1912 waiting in the wings that I haven't tried yet. The SS Imperial Trevor is a soap that I ration my use of because of its scarcity - I find it top end. The scent is a strong memory trigger for me - reminds me of childhood baths with the Imperial Leather bar soap the scent is based on. The same is true of Old Spice after shave - it instantly reminds me of my maternal grandfather. The Weleda balm smells a bit odd but works really well for me. It was only recently that I learned of the connection of Weleda to the Austrian philosopher, educationalist and many other things - Rudolph Steiner. Every day is indeed a school day. So - a really great shave - my smooth superlatives fail me. Enjoy yours gentlemen - yours - I.

3 passes for a BBS shave:)

Prep ~ Shower, Birch tar soap
Razor ~ Supply SE Polished #3
Blade ~ Schick Proline B20
Soap ~ PAA "Dirt" fourth and final use ( pass-around )
Brush ~ Anbbas Boar
Post ~ BBA PSB
Scent ~ Penhaligon's Sartorial

I thought I would have another injector shave today following my E2 shave yesterday so out with the Supply, it's about time I dusted this razor off as it's been a while.
The shave. It was very good indeed, paired with the B20 this makes a very smooth and effective razor and it looks fab! :)
I'm sorry to see the soap go but I'm pleased I've had the chance to try it, so off to the next lucky person. Pure Dirt!
To finnish my shave which had left me as smooth as I require, Blademonkey Smooth I applied two pumps or BBA PSB and a lavish spray of Sartorial, looking good smelling great!

Have a nice day people.........:)

I'm no expert but I would say it's a lightweight with a funky green handle but I'm always happy to be proved wrong :) P. What is under the cap?
