Greetings,

A nice & easy 3 pass + pick ups DFS shave, with no errors to report.

I've carried on with my shave stick week using the derby stick, which provided me with a wonderful slick lather for my shave, the derby stick is, like it's turkish cousin Arko has love/hate opinions amongst the traditional wet shaving community on it's scent, i personally like the scent, but what's important for me is the shave stick provides a great protective slick lather, and a nice post shave feeling to my face.

The Knight MN 202 /Treet~Dura Sharp combo was another superb match very smooth, a perfect match for a relaxing sunday shave.
Finishing the shave off in old school style with a very generous splash of Brut aftershave...Wonderful Stuff.

My face is feeling smooth & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy your Sunday, ladies & gentlemen.

BBA Shave Oil & Shave Butter
Yaqi Sagrada Familia
Schick G8 Injector
Schick Proline B-20 (1)
BBA Shaving Cream
Thayers Rose & BBA Post Shave Balm

Fancied a little indulgence today, used a sachet of oil and my shave butter. Made for a superb pre-shave. My first use of the Proline and by the most comfortable Injector blade I have used (compared to a Personna and vintage Schick). I can well and truly jump on that hype train.

The BBA cream was superb and I had an epiphany, I took the lid off and I never knew it was double lidded. The bigger lid pulls off to serve as a bowl with a smaller lid within. Prior to this morning it all came off as one for me.
MIND = BLOWN

PRE - Shower + almond oil

BRUSH - SOC boar

SOAP - Mixed/ Haslinger sheep milk + Haslinger Aloe Vera

RAZOR - Dovo ‘Mammut' extra hollow

POST - Almond oil + Razorock Stallion AS

Awesome shave today!
The Haslinger combo works like a charm.

@Fergiebilly recently honed this razor along with another one that was lying in a drawer for ages.

The last man to hone this Dovo before Billy was Lynn Abrams. Now I have been straight shaving and barbering for 13 years and I have shaved from many different edges so trust me when I say that Billy knows what he is doing.

Even when I first checked out the bevel with my eye it was obvious that he did a better job than Lynn. It is laser straight!

The shave is very comfortable with a combo of a buttery and mild crisp face feel.
I will be keeping a simple shaving log for this razor.

Shave on!

Sun 3rd December
RazoRock Plissoft 22mm
Tabac bowl
Blackland SabreV1
Gem S/S ( 2 )
Alum Rub/Rinse Off
Tabac A/S Lotion

My second outing with the Sabre. Though described as mild by many, it seems to work well for me.During the Shave it is very smooth yet effective, and allows me with ease to carry out the buffing work needed to get a superior close all round finish. A less edgy shave than I get with a Streamline or 1924,but equally as good.

Found the Razor to be very good around the upper lip, chin and jawline. I am trying to resist the temptation of buying one as with import Taxes etc are a bit pricey. May have to sell a Streamline or two,to raise the funds.
