And so SEptember draws to a close. So, what better way to commemorate by bringing out the big gun: my highly prized Streamline. As always, the lightest of touches yields dividends with this beast. 3 passes and no pick-ups necessary.

The Haslinger soap, I think, has to be one of the best tallow-based ones out there and it's another that blends nicely with the Alt-Innsbruck.

Soap - Haslinger Hönig
Brush - RazoRock Plissoft 22mm
Face lather
Razor - Ever Ready 1912 'Streamline'
Blade - Gem SS #1
Post - Thayer's Rose Petal and Aloe Vera
EDC - Alt-Innsbruck

Prep - Hot towel
Pre shave - Prep
Razor – Merkur 34C HD
Blade – Astra S/P
Brush - 'The Duke' (Duke 3 Best)
Soap – Through the Fire Fine Craft : Angel's Share
Post - Cold water rinse / Tallow + Steel : Dark Aftershave

it seems like ages since I last used this soap, and it did not disappoint this time around, either...... Tidy!

SOTD 30 SEpt.JPG

Pre Shave: Hot Shower + L'Oreal Pure Power Charcoal Face Wash and Proraso white
Razor: PAL Injectomatic
Blade: NOS PAL Stainless (#1) from the 60's I think.
Brush: Razorock 400 Plissoft
Cream: Wickham 1912 Magnum
Post: Alum Block, Cold water and Humphreys Witch Hazel
AS: Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey lotion

A superb shave today. First use of the Razorock 400 Plissoft brush, I have been keen to try a decent synthetic brush for a while and when I saw the aluminium handled ones I had to have one. So far very impressed with the brush, not quite the wow factor the Maseto 30mm finest fan shape brush gave but I really like this brush. I have been face lathering only for a while now but I may try this brush with a bowl next time.

The NOS PAL blade in the Injectomatic was sublime, it really felt like there was no blade in the razor it was so smooth but sliced through the stubble with ease, each stroke of the razor was accompanied by a wonderful audio feedback. It's a shame I only have two more of these blades. For me these are better than the Chinese made Schick blades in the PAL.

Razor: Mongoose B2 w/ Hempel Handle
Blade: Feather Professional (9)
Brush: El Druida Red Heart Chakte Kok/African Blackwood 2 Band Badger
Soap: Oleo Montrose Beach
A/S: Old Spice Skin Conditioner
Decanter: Scrimshaw Whale Tooth (Sound Fast) Cologne 1974-1975
Old Spice Cuff Links

This is my favorite decanter along with my favorite and most treasured Old Spice product Cuff Links. It's been a great focus with many of your great shave photos of excellent SE gear.

Shaving recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Cien~ Green Kick Shower Gel & Shampoo.

Pre:

warm wet flannel to my face.

Wilkinsons Fruits~ Rhubarb & Vanilla Body Butter.

Brush: Chinese Synthetic .

Bowl Lather.

Cream : Arko Lavender .

Blade: Lord Platinum Class . (2)

Razor: Manly Stuff ~ The Knight MN-202 .

Warm wet flannel/ cold wet flannel to rinse my face.

Post:

Alum Block./Lemon+Peppermint Oil & Witch Hazel Mixture. /Geoffrey Beene ~ Grey Flannel A/S .

Aloe Vera Gel .

Greetings,

Another maiden shave with Manly Stuff 'The Knight MN-202' razor gifted to me by my darling sibling sister. The verdict?..

A weighty non-aggressive, very smooth efficient lady, that mowed down my stubble effortlessly. The mild blade gap on the razor head itself provides a shave (that's) perfect for a beginner or a wet shaver (that's) been around the block a few times, however, some may find it too mild, but for myself, it's a solidly made well balanced performing DE razor.

The Knight MN-202 /Lord Platinum class blade, paired up very nicely together. The Lord P.C. blades have been a wonderful suprise, performing very sharp smooth & efficient, very impressive.

A comfortable relaxing 3 pass + pick ups sunday shave with no errors to report.
Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Geoffrey Beene Grey flannel A/S... I was going to finish off with my Herbs of Bulgaria Lavender A/S, but changed my mind at the last minute. Both are excellent aftershaves.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling devine.;)

Enjoy your Sunday, ladies & gentlemen.
