Shave of the day Saturday 9th Sept - Friday 15th Sept 2017

Pre: Musgo Real Lime Oil soap, Myrsol Emulsion
Brush: Simpson Chubby 2 Super Badger

Soap: Barrister & Mann Lavanille
Razor: ATT Kronos M2
Blade: Gillette Spoiler (3)
Post: Myrsol Emulsion

Very close 3 pass shave. Lavanille is an experience; intoxicating scent and rich, creamy beige suds.
Outstanding residual slickness and post-shave feel.
Finished with the spicy Dezember scent from Berlin's Erik Kormann.

Prep....Shower ~ Olive oil soap
Razor....Ever Ready 1912 Brass travel set
Blade....Ever Ready Corrux NOS
Soap....Palmolive Stick (Tallow )
Brush....Simpsons ~ Wee Scot
Post....BBA Post Shave Balm
Scent....Chanel ~ Bleu...oil from Mr Perfume

A wonderful close shave using my brass Ever Ready 1912 , I face lathered with the Palmolive stick and the Wee Scot and was was amazed that such a small brush like this could hold enough lather for a three pass shave but it did with some to spare! I finnished off with the BBA PSB followed by a light application of Chanel Bleu.
This would have been the perfect travel set to have with me should I have been away.

Wishing you all a happy Monday.......:)

Tabac
ER Streamline
Gem S/S [ 2 ]
Alum Rub/Rinse off
Tabac A/S Lotion

Kept it simple on Sunday, as out for the day.Cannot go wrong with Tabac , easy to lather and nice and slick. All went well but for some unknown reason got it a bit wrong on the chin, a weeper which
was quelled by the alum.

Must get into the habit of shaving daily again as slipping back into bad habits of leaving it 3,4 or even 5 days as been off from work on holiday.

Look like a tramp and scruffy!

I waiting to use the very last of the random sticks and cream I've got and I'll make some new soap purchases. Maybe this will encourage me to shave a little more often?

Groomed Facial Scrub
Groomed Shave Cream
Yaqi 24mm Synthetic Brush
GEM G-Bar with a GEM SS Blade
Lucky Tiger Toner/AS
Molecule 01 ISO E Super

A little more minimalistic than I had originally intended. First use of the GEM G-Bar. That is what it was sold to be as....but confirmation would be appreciated! Really smooth 3 pass shave. To me the razor felt quite mild.

Correction.....I now know that this is a variant of the Featherweight!

3 days growth wacked off!

Razor: WS Quattro (1)
Brush: Simpsons Chubby Synthetic
Cream: TFH No10
Post: TFH No10
Hair: Denman Eau Du Portugal

Thought I'd give the Quattro a go. A nicer shave than the Hydro but I'm unsure if I'll get 10 shaves from it like I do the Hydro. Although it'll be a couple days til I get any 'dramas'.

Blissful shave with music in the background, ready for the day now, well post coffee.

Razor: Alumigoose w/ iKon Bamboo Handle
Blade: KAI Captain Titan (3)
Brush: DFS LE Nathan Clark Envy White Handle Aluminum Color, Anodized Dark Bronze. #41/150
Soap: Reef Point Soap Admiralty
A/S: Lucky Tiger, Old Spice
Decanter: Old Spice Ship's Lantern 1981-1984 ID #3632
Bowl: Symmetrical Pottery Starry Night Dottie

Is it the brush, is it the soap, or is it the bowl? Hard to say, but all 3 work very well together to produce an excellent lather. Three passes with a minor touch up for a very near BBS.
The iKon handle is a great little handle.

Greetings All,

Monday shave.

One and a bit days' growth and warm shave

Preparation – face washed with Clique facial scrub

Pre: None
Soap: RazoRock XX
Razor: Merkur 34C
Blade: PolSilver (1st)
Brush: RazoRock 400 Noir (face lather)

Post Shave: Cold water rinse, a shower and to conclude Proraso aftershave lotion (green) and Nivea 2 Phase.

Brought my Merkur 34c back into use this week and it felt like being back with a long lost friend – this is a very nice razor. Each time I take a break from the Merkur 34c and come back to it, my technique seems to improve and my shaving is better. I think this is the first time pairing the Merkur 34c with the Polsilver blade – NICE.

Razorock XX- I really want to say nice things about this soap – it has a very pleasant scent, creates a thick lather but lacks in residue slickness.

Overall, 3 passes and nearly BBS without any pickups and no crimson - good start to hopefully a good week.

Cheers,

Brian

Happy Monday, Everyone :D

Pre: Lots of cold water
Brush: Omega 20102 Boar
Soap: PAA Solstice
Razor: WS Empire
Blade: Hollow Ground
Post: More cold water, Vitamin E oil, Pinaud Clubman

Decided to stick with the more efficient razor after yesterdays wonderful experience, but I must've moved the blade exposure when drying it last time.
This is a very good razor but I need to put Blu Tack or something on the blade exposure control to ensure I get the same shave each and every time without phaffing about.
