Scent of The Day

Scored a bottle of Davidoff Horizon Extreme from Fleabay before the weekend for a song and that turned up today, so on that went.

To be honest, I've worn it all day and lasted until this evening before I wondered "What the feck just happened?". This is the Eau De Parfum strength Davidoff Horizon ...... and it definitely is Horizon ...... but I'm a little clueless as to what need they were addressing in the original juice with this flanker. The leather is a bit prominent ....... But otherwise it's ... well ... Horizon!

Having another pop at that tomorrow...... Paying a little more attention to it this time around. I've had a shower since and can still smell it faintly on my forearm, so there's got to be something to it. We'll see.

Fab, I will be most interested to hear what you think of them and what you would recommend and what is the closest to the origanal frag. :)

When I've tried them all out I'll let you know! As for 'what is closest', I'm afraid I won't be too much help - I'm particularly unfamiliar with the originals. A whiff of the bottle of 'Aventus' sings Fine Platinum, but certainly fruitier. As far as I know, the Fine offering is pretty close in itself!

Edit: I've gone for the Royal Oudh copy, being particularly unfamiliar with oudh-type scents.
 
Addn. Info: I've also been less selfish recently and bought the OH a bottle of Marc Jacobs Daisy EDP. She's been a fan of it for years. I'm sure she'll appreciate the surprise when she gets home from work today. :)
