Had an afternoon shave.
Razor: Hawk in satin finish. Very much a 'Meh!' shave. Too light, drag and a bit rough shave-feel. After one pass I switched to an old two-blade cart razor that got me dolphin smooth.
Brush: Outstanding brush by Brad Sears w/ a Muhle synthetic 'silvertip'. A truly great handle and the knot was very decent.

Used the second of my Gillette Adjustables, and despite liking longer handles found that the Shorter/Chunkier handle and overall weight of the FatBoy suited me more than the Slim. It felt more natural in my hand, and with the lightest of grips was able to use the weight to shave, whereas had tended to apply pressure to the Slim during the Shave.
The shave was not only smooth and comfortable, with a good all-round finish even around the neck, where I fell short with the Slim. No doubt the Shave was assisted by the excellent lather I got with the Vitos ,seemed more creamy and slick than usually.

As expected the shave was spot on, razor, blade and soap working in perfect harmony.
The P.160 soap was easy to whip into a beautiful lather and performed perfectly.
i finnished of this wonderful shave with a wonderful scent, Minotaure .

No shave day, no where to go just a few jobs around the house. So a nice shower and a couple of squirts of C&S Frankincense & Myrrh. Being one that I've had for a while, and don't use much I'm surprised it's held it's scent, in fact I think it's matured a bit and smells fantastic!
