20161121_205929.jpgGreetings All...
Back to DE for a wee while.

Cream - TOBS Sandalwood
Brush - Edwin Jagger Medium Best Badger
Face lather
Razor - 1960s English aluminium Tech
Blade - Schick w/Krona Edge DE #3
Post-Thayer's and Proraso Sandalwood a/s
Smell - Guerlain Habit Rouge EdP

Nice and smooth this morning. 3 outings is probably optimum for the NOS Schick blade. Great wee razors, the Techs; especially with an efficient blade.

Have a great one, guys.

Razor: Gillette President Y 1
Blade: Feather Platinum (2)
Brush: Shavemac Zebra, Honeycomb 2 Band Badger
Soap: Route 66 Frozen Margarita
Aftershave: Fine Platinum
The reason I choose Frozen Margarita should be obvious.

Blue's Goats Milk Tallow Soap
w/Olbas Oil
Rocnel MD SE-P-2016-TR
AKA - Rocnel ½DE
½ Astra SP #2
Alum > Rinse > Alcolado Glacial Splash
RSC Post Shave Balm

The Blue's soap is virtually unscented so ideal for scent spiking. Olbas Oil is quite high in Eucalyptus and Mint essential oils. About 4 drops in the lather bowl worked fine. It has a cooling effect and sure clears the sinuses.
My Rocnel technique improves with each shave. Rapidly becoming a favourite in my razor rotation.

Shave well!!!

recently i've been adding my open comb razors more regular to my SOTD razor rotation, today I've discovered a excellent razor & blade set up yet again,i've trained my mind to shave the lather from my face, rather than the stubble, this has help me dramatically to add no pressure to the shave. Another Flawless no irritation silky smooth shave with no errors to report.Enjoy your day, gentlemen.;)

Razor...Ever Ready Lightweight
Blade...Gem #1
Soap...Tabac
Brush...Semogue 1305
Post...Thayers Lavender AF
EDC...Tabac

My first use with the lightweight and I have to say it was nothing short of fantastic , much like using the G Bar, gave me a really close shave without irritation, those Gem blades are great.
The Semogue 1305 whipped up a wonderful lather from the Tabac soap as expected, it's a great little brush.

Wishing you well.

Floid Blue

Another great smooth shave this morning. Three passes and minimal touch ups provided a nearly perfect shave with the exception of that one spot on my neck. I finished off the shave with a splash of Floid Blue. I hope everyone has a great Tuesday.
