Yeah very true pal."There is nothing to be sorry about"..it;s not a immortal shaving sin not to use shaving soap or cream, if the shaving Gel works for you, and gives you good results.then so be it..Regards.

Love the handle of the GEM.

It's also absolutely fine to use a cartridge razor such as a twin blade or Mach3...(Guess what I used last night?)"There is nothing to be sorry about"..it;s not a immortal shaving sin not to use shaving soap or cream, if the shaving Gel works for you, and gives you good results.then so be it..Regards.
The streamline is a good looking razor and performs nearly as well as your claymore ,which when considering its age is fantastic.Sun 20th Nov.

Have spent 10days familiarising myself with the S/S Claymore Se Razor/ AC Blade, and getting
great Shaves. Decided to make a return to vintage razors to see how they fared after my introduction to a more modern Razor/Blade. Yesterday I used an Injector and today went for a conventional SE razor. Quite pleased that on both days I had very good close shaves , not too dissimilar to that attained with the Modern Razor ,though perhaps not quite as smooth a Shave.

To be honest, when I first saw a picture of this handle I was in two minds on whether I liked it. But when handled, it's wonderful and really comfortable to use.The handles on these chaps are really good.
Good picture, nice tools.
Last minute overnight stay away from home last night, so I tried out a little travel shaving kit I put together recently. I was aiming for being able to have a quick shave in a compact size without skimping on some of my favourites...Proraso green features heavily
Pre: shower + Proraso Green pre-shave cream
Shave: Proraso green soap, Edwin Jagger Super Badger travel brush, Mini Gillette Sensor razor
Post: Proraso Green As splash, followed by Proraso Green balm
Here's a pic of the kit I took back home a little earlier:
