Sounds good to me, I'm using Gillette silver blue and a Gillette Tech (Thanks to Norfolkdick)Gillette silver blue blade sharpness, with the Slim twist mildness and got a perfectly matched shave set up
IMHO, that's excellently what your getting, the Sharpness of the Gillette silver blue, and the smooth mild non aggression of the Gillette tech. Sharp blades are a great combo in non Aggressive razors, as mild blades are good in more aggressive razors.Sounds good to me, I'm using Gillette silver blue and a Gillette Tech (Thanks to Norfolkdick)
I think I get the same results as yourself.
Great pic Clint, just checked out your photo bucket too, well done.

I bought it to be used as a travel razor, it gives me a very good shave .I don't know about the longevity but if it did break due to over tightening or whatever I would have no qualms getting another. Its that good. How do you get on with your 45c Bakelite ?
Gives a good shave also, I like it, great wee travel razor. That's one cool looking razor...☺
