Omega 11137
Lea Classic Soap
PAL Adjusto-matic [ gb version,wide handle ]
Schick S/S [ 1 ]
Alum Rub/ Floid Vigoroso A/S.

Tried another PAL with a different handle. Shaves just as good, cannot understand why some folk have trouble handling the PAL razors.
A nice smooth and close shave. Have to try US model.

Gem Clog Pruf
Gem blade

TOBS Mr Taylor's AS
Nivea Moisturiser

I'm away this week so have a choice of two soaps, Proraso and Wickham. Both are excellent.

Great shave with the Clog Pruf, whenever I use it for a slightly extended period I get the thought in my mind that I'd be happy using just this razor and I could get rid of the others. Not gonna happen though.

Greetings

I haven't used my Aristocrat for a long , long time. In fact I was considering selling it or trading it. I'm glad I didn't because I forgot how much fun it was to use. I was also lamenting the ridiculous bulk of my Shavemac custom 30mm brush, I considered getting re knotted but I've just decided to embrace the big monster and load the hell out of my soaps now.
What can I say about the Cavendish that hasn't been said already , wonderful stuff and I got the lather spot on as far as water to product to knot size ratio was concerned.

PAA Cavendish Soap
Shavemac "Der Kaiser" 30mm Custom
Gillette Aristocrat
Personna 74 (27)
Nivea Balm (not in pic)
PAA Cavendish Splash

Prep: Hot shower
Pre: Murdock Avalon oil
Soap: Saponificio Varesino - Felce Aromatica (SAW)
Bowl: Fine Accoutrements
Brush: Vie-Long Horse Hair 13061M
Razor: Merkur Progress @2.5, 2, 2
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (2)
After: WH, Myrsol Plastic AS, Nivea ASB

This week I've been using Saponificio Varesino to get to know it better. It's not a soap for me unfortunately; too sticky with little cushion and mass which provides little protection. The scent is less of Felce Aromatica and more of Faintly Aromatic; I can only just detect a fern scent at all. To top it all it leaves my skin feeling tacky and dried at the same time, which is weird.
Apart from all those negatives I was able to get a half decent shave so I wouldn't discount it totally, it's just that it doesn't float my boat.

Have a great day, folks.
