I've got one of those lickimat wobbles. Also good for tipping water on your head when rinsing off the shampoo. As you say, cheap, unbreakable, effective. I still tend to face lather most of the time. I think the nodules are slightly too big and too many for efficient soap use, as they hold the lather and its hard to get it out completely, but still good.

Captain’s Choice obsidian copper bowl for me. Really hesitated because of the price, as it is a significant investment, but I’ve never had buy another bowl since. It gives you more lather than most bowls, so you need less product, which means it pays for itself eventually (I like to tell myself…). I’ve used a fair few bowls over the years, but this beats them all. Even thought of buying a spare in case this one gets damaged!
