Anyone got something, shave ready and reasonably noob friendly, wanting to make first real step into straights, I have used Shavette a few times and know its not that similar but I considered this some training, so want to jump into the deep end now.
So what has everyone got?
Got around £25 to spend, hope that is reasonable enough? might consider more if someone can put together a straight razor noob set or some sort.
You are going to need to spend a little more, as you are going to need a straight and a a strop. thats for starters.
contact neil miller he will look after you. ther is a straight, one of neils in bst that needs touching up.

£25. Here are links to two providers of honing services: The Strop Shop and Invisible Edge. Doesn't leave a lot left over for the razor.
If a blade has a nick in it, that needs to be ground out prior to a full honing job from bevel setting to polishing. I'd charge extra for that, as will Neil if I read his terms and conditions aright.
