WoW £1000 for a razor

That's plane stupid given:

- Numbers & Black ring have been re-painted
- Lacquer loss on toggle
- plate loss on the very corners of the guard bar (might be wrong on this one), one image shows it, others don't.
 
Even though it's not my cup of tea, I fully understand the need to want something that's unique in it's class and collectibility, the need to have and own such a razor to the collector that as every single model except that one well nothing else matters, if there were two simular bidders with the same mindset it probably could have gone for more.

This is not your standard toggle, hence the price.
This is one of the early ones, a few things changed on the final ones.
I'm pretty sure the numbers have not been repainted, I've seen quite a few toggles where the paint was just not perfect, since I think they were done by hand anyways.
It does show some wear on the head, but nothing major.

It's a fine example, and on par with a bottom dial in exclusivity & price.

Way out of my league though, I'll just have to content myself with a "normal" toggle I have ;)
