Received this in the post today won on E bay never been used plus all original packing including the Christmas packing which is a nice bonus Looking at the art work it looks about 1950s what do you lot think? and has anybody shaved with one of these? I am well happy little Christmas Elf:icon_cheesygrin:

I'm no expert on razors but the design looks as if it pre-dates the 50's by at least 20 to 30 years. What a lovely addition to your collection.

If no-one has any information here, I'm pretty sure there's a database on Badger and Blade that will have details.

It could be from 1929. The Wilkinson Sword website has an 'Our Heritage' timeline on it which features an 'Empire' razor. That was before WS started to manufacture double edge razor blades.
