Now that I have a few (but still far fewer than most) DE razors I'm finding that I will choose razor according to the circumstance.

  • Gillette Slim Twist: When I want a quick shave with no irritation but not worried about closeness. Excellent if I've overdone it earlier in the week.
    Futur: When I wish to shave quickly but close, and am not overly concerned about a bit of irritation. However the bulk stops me from doing things like such as J-hooking and blade buffing so I find it hard to get a true BBS.
    EJ DE89: My go to razor for a close shave, the size allows me to blade buff etc with ease. [/list:u]

    So which razors do you choose when and why?
 
Got alot of razors but i guess..

23C / 34C - Quick no hassle shave when im in a rush.
40's Superspeed - Relaxing slow shave
39C - Looking a bit rough with much fuzz to remove

Any other razor is just as i fancy a change for the day really..
 
I call my bathroom Burke's Peerage as I only have Aristocrat's in there. :mrgreen:

"I'm going for a pee and a peerage" = Off for a wee and a shave
 
Muhle 89 almost always.

Merkur 39c slant on holidays or if I just fancy a change.

One of two straight razors or Merkur Progress for functions / nights out.

Used to use either Fatboy or Schick Krona, but now it's the EJDE89L !!!!
it's the Dog's Ding Dongs !!!!

Vintage are lovely to use and collect, but this thing is in a league of it's own !!!
