Hi All

My brother has just seen this and didn't buy it as he's not sure what it is.

So he sent me this crappy iphone shot of it.

Thing is, I can't place it.

I even looked at the BB chart for open comb + barber pole + no rings

So, here it is:

You sure it's a gillette looks like it might be a robart to me ( is it a OC ) looks like it's not

It certainly has that Rotbart look about the knurling... mind you Rotbart were bought by Gillette were they not?

It's reminiscent of a Gillette Popular with the black handle.

It's a Rotbart mond extra (not an OC), a nice two piece.

EDIT: Might not be two piece, lots of Rotbart's are called mond extra.

I've told him to buy it if the teeth are all straight and present (the razor's, not his) although it then occurred to me that I don't the price nor what it's worth.

Looks like one my late grandfather used to have... I always loved that razor and it went missing just after he passed away...
