I agree best £15 analogue watches on the market.Bought an economical Casio quasi-diver watch today for the simple reason that it has day/date, is highly legible and the reputation Casio quartz has for accuracy. No need to shuck out Big Money when this has the same movement that many of their other more expensive quartz watches have. As well, this fella's videos convinced me:
My watch:
I'm after a nice strong watch I can wear on a daily basis and fancy something different. Vostok really appeals. Did you buy from their website Meranom? Really like the look of the Amphibia Classic. Just not sure on the best way to get hold of one.Your Vacheron must have a movement adaptable for wrist or pocket settings and no date complication to ruin its perfect dial. I've several Vostoks and they all keep pretty good time but not had this long enough to judge. I must buy a timegrapher to check watches. Some interesting Vostok comments here...
Many thanks. Your black and gold watch looks mint!Glen I've bought from Meranom and Russian vendors on Ebay. I've never had any problems apart from painfully slow delivery and no problems with the watches themselves except the tinny bracelets. Budget for a new strap etc.

Hi Glen I've just received a package from Meranom it took about 4 weeks to the UK as I've been making a watch from new parts, a guy's gotta do something in lockdown.I'm after a nice strong watch I can wear on a daily basis and fancy something different. Hi Glen it is finished, only just finished regulating the movement from +20/pd down to +3/pd and I'll gladly post a picture tomorrow, although I'm not a watch maker by trade its more of a hobby thing.Make your own watch? Now that is worth a picture on here when its finished!
Hi Manstein yes they are Meranom parts, the movement and case are Meranom also but was purchased from another vender within Russia due to a shortage of them parts at the time of purchase.John are these all Meranom parts? A friend has built some watches using the Chinese Seagull calibre.
I love a Casio. My favorite watch brand - just pressed the But It Now button for this watch with the yellow numerals.
