If you must go camping you might as well slum it properly...canned gel and disposables.

It'll make returning to civilisation all the more pleasurable.

I just take my usual kit but the site we use has private cubicles so never been an issue. Lack of hot water sometimes has been when camping.

That was as close to my thoughts of "Gillette Blue II, Cheapo Brush, Palmolive Stick" as I've seen so far. That is a typical camping ablutions set up. Or as Tony said, canned Gel, palmolive stick is cheaper though.

How about ....................not shaving. :shock:

I tend to do one mountain marathon a year involving 2 days no shaving while roughing it in a tent. It does make the first shave back home more pleasurable.
However if I'm camping for a few days with my lads (not a euphemism) then it's Body Shop synthetic brush, palmolive soap and a flare-tip rocket and whatever after shave balm I have (in a small plastic travel container courtesy of Boots).
