She is a big framed girl isn't she! I took my border terrier to the vet's today and he weighs in at 12.8kg and on the way out I saw a frenchie and Taz my border terrorist was a fair bit bigger than the male frenchie so your's must be a big girl! They are lovely dog's, we'll they all are but I do love the French Bulldog, sooo cute unlike my border who is a fantastic but typical terrier!Got our wee Frenchie back home last evening after her being in to get spayed. Vet reckoned she sailed through the op with no probs with anaesthetic. She's also put on weight, going from 13.2 kilos to 13.8 kilos in the 4 weeks she's been with us on the BARF diet. Weight which she did require as she's a big framed girl for the breed. Just poaching an egg for her breakfast and reckoning I'm one of the most well blessed old guys I know. Specially as I've got the funeral of an old friend's late wife on Monday to remind me of how uncertain our lives are.

I'm sorry if I made it sound like I thought she was carrying excess weight as that was not my intention , I was just echoing what you had said about her being big framed, dogs within their own breed can vary in size and weight, my BT for example is quite large for his breed.@Blademonkey, she's not carrying any excess weight and, prior to her op, was used to around an hour morning and afternoon mainly running free on the moorlands and woodlands within ten minutes walk of our house. I can't post photos or would let yu have a look. We've had many dogs over the years, however she's one of the most personality filled ones.

Im sorry, I misinterpreted what you was saying, my bad.Didn't think that at all BM, was just underlining how big she is for a Frenchie. If she had a more sedentary lifestyle she could easily become a right chubster ! Like most of us who share our lifes with a loved companion any excuse is enough to set me off chuntering about her. Please don't imagine I took any part of your post as being in any way critical, I didn't m8.
