What on earth did he do?!Landlady turned up at the weekend with some young chap to have a look at the overgrown garden - which over the last month or so I've been slowly starting to hack back. Don't worry she says this chap is coming to take the conifers out and tidy it up....
Apparently not just conifers but shrubs, rose bushes, flowers, lawn...
Thanks but it's not over and I've had to take some time away from work because (at least temporarily) the stress broke me.I hope this is nearing a resolution, Bertie, one that you, all things considered, can be content with and allowing you to leave it behind you.
Chopped everything down, ground out all the stumps and then scraped it all with something. Not totally sure what's going to happen next. Going to be one big mud pit when it rains. What on earth did he do?!
I think she's a little ... odd when it comes to sorting things out - always too little or too much.maybe your slowly hacking back was it bit too slow for your landlady!!
I hope she is on the mend soon. The 9 year old bulldog was off her food yesterday, pebble dashed the hall overnight in what can only be described as projectile shitting ! Got her to the vet, had to take her up to the main clinic in Glasgow where after an ultrasound she had an emergency op. Abdominal cavity contaminated with faecal fluid percolating through from the gut and bowels. She's a rescue girl and seems she has an adhesion of long standing, possibly due to previous ill or violent treatment, which has caused inflammation. She's on her way to Glasgow Vet College for overnight care & I'm wishing I had a roof fund to raid to top up the per insurance.

What made my day a bad one, well i got up at 4 am for work my usual monday morning routine:- tea, clean teeth n shower. Towel dry dress then leave for work. Mmmmm not quite today, it kinda went like this:- tea clean teeth shower........ Slipped getting out of the shower twisted my back landed inbetween the shower and the loo which is a little less than an 18 inch gap and got stuck. So ive now jared my back im stuck and its just after 4am and im shouting ranting and raving.
Wifey opens the loo door and asks what im doing on the floor so i told her i sit here every morning, she said ok keep the noise down and shut the door and went back to bed. So im now, not in the loo. Ive had to take the day off see a back specialist arraged by the doc and now ive gotta have scans done as this is an ongoing issue with my back that i have never done anything about.
God i hate the felling im getting old, im only 46 and feel like a raspberry ripple today
