What is your usual everyday outfit?

When I'm not at work ...

Levis 501s
Grenson 'Stanley' Brogues
Fred Perry Polo Shirts
Corgi Socks
Sunspel Pants

If it's colder, I'll add ...

Cheap T. M. Lewin Oxford Shirts
Wolsey Jumpers (because I only wear Cotton)
Barbour 'Beaufort' Waxed Cotton Jacket

Sounds like an extract from American Psycho. I'm waiting for the first person to say Oliver People's glasses (nonprescription). Anyway:

Monday to Friday:
Wool blend suits in dark colours, all Jeff Banks
Black Oxford or black square toe shoes
Double cuff shirts, usually Jeff Banks or Jasper Conran
Occasionally a tie, mostly Osborne, Duffer St George or Conran

Out of work:
Hiking trousers and hiking boots
T shirt or polo shirt
Fleece top or Arran cardigan
Berghaus rain jacket
Ex-forces softie jacket on really cold days

Slouch days: Ice Hockey shirts / tracksuit bottoms

Work:- Plain Blue Suit with patterned shirt and toning tie.
Play:- Winter shirt, cords, quilt & brogues, Summer jeans, polo shirt and fleece.
Also, if I am attending an outdoor event in summer, Hawaiian shirt and panama hat.:icon_razz:

Never got on with the softie but my Buffalo kept me nice and toastie in the middle a Balkan winter, working nights, outside, in -24 and 2 foot of snow.

Best money I have ever spent on an item of clothing.

M & S Blue Harbour Black moleskin pants
Black T shirt
Black leather Clarks shoes.

That is all, no socks, no underwear.

Pretty much the same for work, only I have a navy blue tunic over the top of my T shirt.

Work - suit in dark blue or grey with white or blue shirts and assorted ties. Often a wool blazer instead of a suit jacket to conform to the history teacher stereotype.

As soon as I get in - battered old hockey hoodies and shorts or 'loungepants'. Pyjamas, more or less.

Weekend - jeans or chinos, brogues, shirt or tee. Unless I'm playing hockey or out walking, in which case it's obvious.

I haven't yet the money to splash out to much on clothes while I'm squirrelling away money towards summer holiday travelling and a house deposit. My clothes seem to be from a mixture of Austin Reed, TM Lewin, Debenhams, Levis, TK Maxx, ASOS (online) and M&S.

Work: Black cargo trousers, black uniform shirt and jumper
Play: Khaki cargo trousers, t-shirt, check shirt, if cold I add a wool jumper and/or sheepskin waistcoat.
Posh: Kilt or trews with all the gubbins.

by Khaki I mean US Khaki which to me is UK Khaki Drill.

A cape, with a red lined collar.
A shirt, tied at the neck with a leather + pewter cord
Black leather boots
Black trousers
Fake vampire teeth

That was, however, just for yesterday...

varies too much from day to day... usually a combination of:

jeans / chinos / moleskins / trousers

+

Shirt / rugby shirt / polo shirt (+/- Jumper depending on weather)

+

Tweed jacket or Blazer depending on shirt / polo

+

A pair of finely made british shoes :)

April - Sept T shirt and shorts
October - March jeans and t shirt or long sleeve t shirt. I smarten up for an occasion.

Usually Adidas trainers, Clarks Desert Boots or DM's with Loake again for an occasion.

As for jackets, leather in winter or a waterproof, sometimes a Harrington in the summer or a Fat Face Sweat.

Monday to Friday

Smart business suit, I have about 15 different ones.
TM Lewin double cuff shirt, and tie
Loake Oxfords; Black plain, Black Semi Brogue, and Brown Semi Brogue.

Jeans and T shirt and Karrimor walking shoes for casual attire

Usually when out smart jeans, Loake oxford brown brogues, and a casual shirt.

Work - Usually Mon-Fri

Black trousers (currently M+S), black shoes (Currently Clarkes) and a shirt (could be anything from Matalan to Burtons to Next).

I wore a tie for the first few years in this job, but it wasn't a requirement and I eventually stopped bothering.

Weekends

Lacey red/black/white basque with matching panties, suspender belt and stockings.

its certainly unique, in that men who seem to take so much care over their grooming and personal appearance, also seem to have a large number of people that couldnt care less what they wear lol :)
