Being nosey but genuinely interested what fellow members do in the real world, I am an HGV electrician, the company I work for specialise in electronic braking and suspension systems, lots of on road time covering most of England, really busy too, what do you do?

( I was going to say Typhoon pilot but chickened out[SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH])

Hope that you realise that some of us (probably most of us) that have read your post are currently thinking of THE most ridiculous and funny job titles they can come up with.

You have opened the portal......

The first photographer I worked for way back in my youth was a chap called, Richard Painter. Now he figured it was much easier to be done with it and just call himself Dick. One day he rang up a client and got through to his receptionist, when she asked his name she replied, "Is that your name or your profession?".

Anyone, back to the answer to the original question, I'm a freelance photographer and occasionally do a bit of writing for a couple of car magazines.

Technical Support Supervisor for a photographic Distribution/Service Business.

That's the official title, but there's much more to it than that.

Where should we start? Full time dad to a terrible three girl, lover, shaving products tester, ex tank commander and industrial software integration principal (all true btw).

Cultural ambassador to the Lake District (frightingly, this is actually true)

Senior Manager, HM Revenue and Customs (sadly, so is this)

Senior as in SCS, or G7 / G6?

Uncle was/is G7 (HMRC) last time I spoke to him, brother is a HEO (valuations agency?).

Both in that monstrosity of a building near Nottingham station.

G7. You Civil Servant as well?

I'm also a JP in spare time. Like to cover all bases
