I hope you're young, Speedy. That would probably last me more than my lifetime (or will you never use another brand of blade again?).Coming soon in the mail found another 31 lot of Gillette Super Stainless Steel 15 blade for each cartridge comes to a total of 465 blades, and NO MOAR!! hunting for Gillette Super Stainless, it's finished, it's over and I'm done.
The grand total of 1525 Vintage Gillette Super Stainless in my super DEN.
Well, to be honest, I'm not young still getting very close reaching towards 50. Besides, it doesn't matter because I have 4 younger cousins in my family tree who has been wet shaving for nearly 4 years and they LOVE it. All my leftover of nearly over 5k of DE & SE blades together in total will be passed on to them when my time is over, along with all my vintage and modern razors.I hope you're young, Speedy. That would probably last me more than my lifetime (or will you never use another brand of blade again?).
I know it has been a few years. Like you, I loved this brush, and mine arrived today, fully restored. Do you know anything about production dates, the maker, etc.\?I've wanted a NeverShed brush in this particular model for over a year now when I saw one fully restored and thought it was an amazing looking brush.
The tough thing is that they don't come up all that often for sale and when they do there is often some serious cosmetic/structural damage - but, finally came across one this week that looks great and after $20 w/ free shipping it is now slowly making its way over to me.
The patent date on it is Feb 14-05.

Thank you so much for this, Rohleder!Darkbulb doesnt visit here anymore unfortunately so you might be a long time waiting for a reply... You'll probably have better luck contacting him via Instagram though which AFAIK he still uses: https://www.instagram.com/darkbulb/?hl=en
I suspect he will know something, his product write ups are semi-legendary and were always well researched.
I like finished treads, so just as a follow up; also Darkbulb doesn't know more about the rise and fall of the elusive Never-Shed brush.Thank you so much for this, Rohleder!
